Sarah Evans-Price

Eighth Grade Class Teacher

A graduate of the University of Vermont, Sarah holds a B.A. in English with a Spanish minor, and a B.S. in Middle Level Education. She has been a sixth grade teacher in Vermont for the last several years, and has experience teaching in both private and public settings. As an alum of both a Waldorf school and a public school, she is excited to experience the blend of public charter and Waldorf practices that Circle of Seasons provides.

Two of Sarah’s biggest passions are the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, and all aspects of theater. She trained and competed on the University of Vermont Taekwondo team with her now-fiancé, Colin, and believes incorporating lessons of Taekwondo in the classroom can encourage mindfulness, self-control, and perseverance. Since her role as a door in her first grade Waldorf play, Sarah has embraced being a part of performing arts, both on and off stage. She served as secretary of the University Players, the University of Vermont’s theater club, wrote and directed a full-length historical play as her senior thesis, and continued theater after college as her school’s drama club advisor. She looks forward to continuing to encourage students to achieve their creative goals at Circle of Seasons.

Some of Sarah’s other interests include kayaking, manatees, painting, knock-knock jokes that are so bad they’re good, cats, and macaroni and cheese.
