Mindy Berky

Mindy graduated from Kutztown University with certifications in Special Education and Elementary Education in 2021 after six years of attending college part-time. She also previously earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Lehigh Carbon Community College. While working her way through college, Mindy dedicated her home life to being a foster parent alongside her spouse. Together they supported students and families of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and walks of life. Her experiences with foster care greatly influence the calm and understanding approach she takes to teaching children. Mindy has two adopted sons that keep her busy at home, as well as a rambunctious dog. In her spare time, Mindy enjoys taking long naps in her hammock, reading, exploring, and playing games with her family.
