Kara Vasilakos
Business Office Clerk
Kara graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in HealthCare Administration and a minor in Business. After living in the great city of Chicago and working in an office setting for ten years, priorities began to shift towards family and kids. Kara and her family moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family and friends. Leaving office life behind to stay home with her three children, Kara loved finding creative and hands-on ways to learn with them. She also spent as much time as possible volunteering with her children at school and in sports. During that time, Kara realized working with kids was her focus. Kara began working at Asbury Preschool as a preschool teacher in a three-year-old classroom. Creating relationships between staff, students, and their families was so important. Her new position at Circle of Seasons combines some of her past work with where life has led her recently. Kara is looking forward to working with the staff, children, and families at Circle of Seasons.
When Kara is not in the office at school, you can find her taxiing her three children, volunteering as Commissioner of the local field hockey club, spending time with her family, creating or working on home projects, and taking care of all her crazy pets.
