    Director of School Operations Adam Duke Director of School Operations < Back Adam Duke joined Circle of Seasons in 2019 as a member of the Facilities Team. In 2022 he became the School Operations Manager, and he now manages the Facilities and Grounds of our school - a job that requires wearing many hats. Adam grew up in the area, graduating from Parkland High School. His previous work experiences include welding, landscaping, and several years as a stay at home parent.   • Caitlin O'Connor

    Speech and Language Therapist Caitlin O'Connor < Back Speech and Language Therapist Caitlin earned her Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Penn State in 2017. Since then, she has worked as a school-based speech and language pathologist in several Pennsylvania schools with students in grades K-12. Cait first began working with Circle of Seasons as a contracted speech therapist in 2020, and is thrilled to be joining the COS Faculty for the 2024-25 school year. Cait is passionate about supporting and empowering students with communication delays and disorders. She believes strongly in utilizing collaborative and neurodiversity-affirming approaches to speech therapy to best meet the needs of each individual student. Cait was especially drawn to COS’s philosophy of inclusion, and educating and supporting the whole child.   • Lorraine Lidon

    Intervention Teacher Lorraine Lidon < Back Intervention Teacher Lorraine graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts as a Teacher of the Handicapped. She earned a Masters of Education as a Reading Specialist and second Masters of Education in Environmental Education. After 30 years of teaching in New Jersey Public Schools, she recently “retired”. Over those years, she taught various grades and subjects, from Integrated Preschool – 8 th grade reading/language arts. During the summer months, she worked as a seasonal naturalist with Wildlands Conservancy, primarily with the Bike and Boat program. It was through her work at Wildlands that she first heard about COS and was excited to know there was a school whose vision and philosophy matched her own. When she’s not teaching or working, she love spending time with her three grown children and her dog, Zoey.   • MaryAnn Columbus

    Intervention Teacher MaryAnn Columbus < Back Intervention Teacher MaryAnn Columbus earned a Doctorate in Special Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. While working toward her degree, MaryAnn served as a research assistant and student teaching supervisor. MaryAnn has over 14 years of teaching experience working with a diverse group of learners, including those in learning support, emotional support and life skills programs. While raising her daughters, MaryAnn became certified as a reading specialist and began working as an Intervention Teacher at Circle of Seasons in the spring of 2021. The Waldorf emphasis on creativity and imagination pairs well with MaryAnn’s passion for art and dance. MaryAnn has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Education with a specialization in Fine Arts. She also did volunteer work at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center where she taught tap and jazz dance lessons to underprivileged children.     Seventh Grade Class Teacher Wendy Gornicz < Back Seventh Grade Class Teacher Wendy Gornicz, or "Mrs. G." received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Delaware, and began teaching Nature Education which included rock climbing, ropes courses, and zip-lining in the Pocono Mountains. After getting married and starting a family she decided to stay home and began a 14-year-long adventure that included five children! In 2016, when her youngest started kindergarten, she attended graduate school and earned her masters degree and teaching certificate in Middle Level Science (Grades 4-8) at Wilkes University while substitute teaching in several districts here in the Lehigh Valley. Graduating in 2019, Mrs. G. worked as a short-term substitute serving the Parkland School District in several capacities as high school Biology and Biomedical Science teacher, Keystone Testing Co-Coordinator, and middle school Study Skills facilitator. She subsequently earned her high school teaching certification in Biology. Mrs. G. loves music of all kinds, being outside, hiking, camping, kayaking, going to the beach, and observing the beauty of nature and science! She loves spending time with her family and is actively involved in her church as well.
